PRINCETON - Richard E. Lindquist, 67, of Main Street, Princeton, died suddenly Sunday morning, February 21, 2010 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
His wife of 45 years, Geraldine E. (Sullivan) Lindquist, died in 2007. He leaves three sons, Joe Lindquist and his wife Nancy of Barre, Eric Lindquist of Jefferson and Gary Lindquist and his wife Becky of Barre; a daughter, Jean Lindquist Grady and her husband Kevin of Paxton; eight grandchildren, Shayna, Hunter, Raven, Ella, Lily, Olivia, Isabel, and Allison; a brother, William Lindquist and his wife Pam of Princeton; and many nephews and nieces. He was born in Holden, the son of Oscar A. and Sigrid (Wilson) Lindquist, and lived in Princeton for over 40 years.
Richard was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. He was a Machinist Mate 2nd Class for the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. He worked many years and was highly respected in the well water industry. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and working on his "to do list".
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, February 25th, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. The funeral service for Richard will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 26th, in the funeral home with burial following in Hillside Cemetery, Clinton Road (Rte. 62), Sterling. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
